The SOMEBODY Project - Promo Pack.png

Everybody is somebody. Every story matters.

A space for real stories to be shared, heard and valued.

SHARE YOUR STORY | EXPLORE THE STORIES

Maybe that somebody is you.

Every story belongs to somebody.

Somebody’s child.
Somebody’s friend.
Somebody’s classmate.
Somebody in our community.

We may never know whose story we’re reading, but we might recognise something of ourselves in it.

You don’t have to know somebody to connect with their story.

WHAT IS THE SOMEBODY PROJECT?

The Somebody Project is a safe space for Whānau to share their experiences of mental health and wellbeing, in their own way.

We want to hear:

What hurts.
What helps.
What needs to change.
Your ideas.
Your solutions.

You don’t need to stand up in a room or put your name beside your story.

Your story. Your way.

Somebody feels this too.
Somebody understands.
Somebody has been there.
Somebody has something to say.
Somebody has an idea.
Somebody could make a difference.

Maybe that somebody is you.

SHARE YOUR STORY

You might want to share something you’ve been through, something that helped, something you wish people understood, or an idea that could make things better.

Write a few sentences. Write a page. Write a letter.

There’s no perfect way to do it.

You can use your real name, a made-up name, or no name at all.
