This is a full day professional development workshop.

Cost

This course is free, we just ask for a venue and provided kai.

Informed and facilitated by whānau with lived experience of mental distress and/or addiction.

It is crafted and informed by a substantial amount of insights from our whānau with lived experience of mental wellbeing challenges. It aims to facilitate a deeper understanding of lived experience perspectives and how this may inform practice, as well as provide an opportunity for long-term holistic growth.

Ngā Kete Toru Framework

Ngā Kete Toru, which has been developed by Te Kete Pounamu, is a relational and reflection framework, which can be utilized to strengthen relationships with lived experience whānau. 

Practical Application

We make sure participants have opportunities to analyse case studies, cultural perspectives worldviews in the health care setting, develop practical strategies, discuss collective changes to improve relationships and health care practices and learn valuable frameworks to enhance professional practice.
